May 20-22: Grand Casino Hinckley will host the 38th Annual Chmielewski International Polka Festival featuring Mollie B from RFD-TV. The event will take place on Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21 at 11 a.m. and Sunday, May 22 at 10 a.m. in the Events Center.

For several years it was held at the former Ironworld in Chisholm. Headliners will be Florian Chmielewski is the product of a family that has been synonymous with polka music for six generations. One of 15 children, he was born in Sturgeon Lake, MN on February 10, 1927. As he progressed from a dairy farmer, to County Commissioner, to Minnesota State Senator, Florian always maintained his love for the accordion. HINCKLEY — The Chmielewski International Polkafest has been happening for nearly four decades, with the 39th celebration set for Friday-Sunday, May 19-21, at the Grand Casino in Hinckley.
